Can the shutter sound be turned off?

Select your model below and follow the steps to turn off the shutter sound.

ILCE-6100 / 6300 / 6400 / 6500 / 6600 / 7M3 / 7RM2 / 7RM3 / 7RM4 / 7S, and 7SM2

1. Press the MENU button.
2. Select Camera Settings 2 or Custom Settings.
3. Select Silent Shooting → On

Note: When using an ILCE-7SM3
Press the MENU button → (Shooting) → Shutter/Silent → Silent Mode Settings → Silent Mode → On
