Should the PlayMemories Home software be open on the computer to send pictures wirelessly from the camera or when importing using a USB connection?

The PlayMemories Home software should not be open when importing pictures either wirelessly or with a USB connection. The software will auto detect the camera automatically either with the USB connection or it will detect cameras wirelessly that have been registered with the computer.

NOTE: The computer itself must be powered on and connected to a wireless network.
