The TV will not connect to a wireless network when using a Wireless Access Point device.

    It has come to our attention that when using certain Wireless Access Point devices the WPA2 Personal security mode will not connect wirelessly to the TV. To resolve the connection issue, change the security mode to WPA2 Personal Mixed or WPA.

    If you are unable to change the security type on the wireless access point you can still connect with the TV using manual entry mode:

    IMPORTANT: Some of the following steps will require that you know what the specific settings were when the router was set up. If you do not remember these settings, refer to the manual supplied with the Wireless Access Point device for model-specific information or contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further assitance.

    1. Press the Home button.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select Network.
    4. Select Setup network connection.
    5. Select Custom.
    6. Select Wireless setup.
    7. Select Scan.
    8. Select Manual entry.
    9. Input your network SSID
    10. Select your Security mode type from the following available options:
      • None
      • WEP
      • WPA/WPA2-PSK (TKIP)
      • WPA/WPA2-PSK (AES)

      NOTE: WPA/WPA2-PSK (AES) is generally the default setting on most access points. Howevever, if you do not know which security type was selected when setting up the Network, you can try each of the settings until you find the one that works or you can contact your ISP for further assistance.

    11. Input your Password.
    12. Select IP address setting: Auto.
    13. Select Proxy server: No.
    14. Connect to the network.
