How do I setup and use the Wi-Fi Direct feature of my TV?

    1. Enable the Built-in Wi-Fi® setting on your Android TV™.

      1. On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Follow the steps below according to your TV menu options:
        • Select Network & Internet → Wi-Fi → Set it to On.
        • Select Network → Advanced settings → Built-in Wi-Fi → Set it to On.

    2. Turn on the Wi-Fi Direct setting of the TV.

      Note: Skip this step if your TV has an Android™ 8.0 Oreo™ or higher operating system.

      1. Press the HOME button.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Under Network & Accessories category, select Network.
      4. Select Wi-Fi Direct.
      5. Set it to On.

    3. Display the WPA key of the TV.

      1. Press the HOME button.
      2. Select Settings.
      3. Select Network or Network & Internet.
      4. Select Wi-Fi Direct.
      5. Select Wi-Fi Direct settings.
      6. Select Show Network (SSID)/Password.
        • The Service Set Identifier (SSID) and the Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) key will be displayed on the TV screen.
      7. On the Wi-Fi setting of the Wi-Fi Direct compatible device, select the SSID of the TV and enter the WPA key displayed on the TV screen as the password.
        • If the connection is successful, the message Wi-Fi device is connected will appear on the TV screen.
