My OLED TV switches to screen saver mode

This occurs when your OLED TV is idle for a certain period of time to protect the panel from image retention. Follow the steps to change the screen saver run time depending on the operating system of your TV.
Android™ 7.0 Nougat or higher OS
- On the supplied remote control, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- The next steps will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Device Preferences → Screen saver → When to start.
- Select Screen saver → When to start.
- Select from the following:
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- Press the HOME button.
- Select Settings.
- Under TV category, select Daydream.
- Select When to daydream.
- Select from the following:
- 5 minutes
- 10 minutes
- 15 minutes
- 30 minutes
- 1 hour
- The screen saver stops and returns to the previous screen when you operate the remote control.
- We recommend setting the run time to 5 minutes to avoid image retention and extend the OLED panel life.
