Check if your Android TV™ device connects to the wireless network after each step:
-
Connect other devices to the same wireless router.
If other devices don't connect, check the following instructions:
If the issue still occurs, contact your ISP for further assistance.
- Restart your TV.
- Perform a factory data reset.
-
Check how your TV and router are set up.
- If possible, use your TV and the router in the same room.
- The proximity of your TV to your router will affect signal strength.
- Keep a distance of 3 feet or more between your TV and the router.
- Turn off other equipment near your TV and the router.
- Other wireless or electronic devices such as Bluetooth® devices, cordless telephones, baby monitors, and microwave ovens may cause interference.
- If the router uses multiple frequencies (ex: 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz), try a different frequency.
If you continue to experience network connection issues after you follow all of the steps above, another option is to use a wired (cable) connection from your TV to your router or modem.
