Sound is delayed to my soundbar when changing the TV channel with my BRAVIA TV and sound bar connected via eARC

This can happen if the eARC settings of your BRAVIA™ TV or soundbar have been changed from their default settings. If desired, disable the TV or sound bar eARC settings to improve the delay. Refer to your device manuals for specific settings details.

    • BRAVIA TV: Change the eARC mode from Auto to Off.
NOTE: The default setting is Off.
    • Soundbar: Change the eARC setting from On to Off.
NOTE: The default setting is On.

    • When a Blu-ray Disc™ player and the soundbar are connected to a TV via HDMI, and the eARC setting is off, the uncompressed source (5.1ch or 7.1ch HD), or High Definition Audio (Dolby Atoms, Dolby TrueHD, DTS:X, DTS-HD etc.) is not sent to the sound bar via HDMI. If you want to play these audio sources, connect the Blu-ray Disc player to the sound bar (HDMI IN). For details about connection methods, refer to the TV and/or sound bar manual.
    • With the eARC function enabled, images may experience about a 2.5 second delay, and the audio may experience about a 5 second delay.
