TV screen briefly goes black when turning on certain HDMI devices (e.g., Nintendo Switch 2)

This behavior is caused by the HDMI-CEC function and is not an issue with your BRAVIA TV or external devices.
For example, when Match TV Power State is turned ON in the Nintendo Switch 2 settings, turning it ON will automatically switch your TV's HDMI input to the Nintendo Switch 2.
Afterwards, the HDMI communication between the TV and the console stops. This will cause the HDMI input to switch again, resulting in the screen temporarily going black.
Note: BRAVIA TV and some external HDMI devices, such as Nintendo Switch 2, are equipped with the HDMI-CEC function, which enables communication and control between connected devices.
Depending on the type and number of connected devices, this function may switch the input source several dozen seconds after a device is turned on.
