The component will not automatically turn on when using the BRAVIA Sync feature.

As part of the normal operation of the television, the BRAVIA Sync feature also known as the Consumer Electronic Control or CEC feature will not automatically power on a Home Theater system, Blu-ray Disc® (BD) player, DVD player or other BRAVIA Sync capable device that also has an active standby feature. In this case, the component will have to be manually powered on each time.
