How to set up the camera to be remotely controlled with a smartphone.

Remote control setup

1. Turn on the camera.
2. Press the MENU button.
3. Select Ctrl with Smartphone.
   • Note: The SSID and password are displayed on the camera LCD screen.
4. Configure the smartphone to recognize the Wi-Fi® signal from the camera.
   • For a smartphone with an Android™ operating system:
     1. Start the Imaging Edge Mobile app.
     2. Select the SSID as displayed on the camera LCD screen. It starts with the word DIRECT followed by a combination of letters and numbers.
     3. Enter the password as displayed on the camera LCD screen.
   • For a smartphone with an iOS® operating system:
     1. Go into Settings.
     2. Select Wi-Fi.
     3. Select Wi-Fi Network.
     4. Select the SSID as displayed on the camera LCD screen - It starts with the word DIRECT followed by a combination of letters and numbers.
     5. Enter the password as displayed on the camera LCD screen.
     6. Start the Imaging Edge Mobile app.
