About this download

This program updates the MD Simple Burner™ software and resolves the following issues:

The closed group on the MD software pane opens automatically when creating a new group or moving a track.
Unable to select multiple tracks in different groups and move them all at once into a single new group.
Groups, a balloon message or an icon display incorrectly.

Important Notes

This update is only for MD Simple Burner Version 2.0.00.12120 software.
Before downloading this update, please follow these steps to check the version of MD Simple Burner software installed on your computer.
1. Start the MD Simple Burner program.
2. At the top-right corner of the "MD Simple Burner" window, click "CONFIG."
3. At the "Settings" window, click the Version tab.
4. Check along the top, where it states "MD Simple Burner Version..."
  - If Version 2.0.00.12120 is listed, please download and install this update.
  - If Version 2.0.01.13180 or higher is listed, this update program is not needed. The update fixes are already included in this version of the software.
5. Click OK to close the "Settings" window.
For the Windows XP MCE, Windows XP and Windows 2000 Operating Systems Only: During the installation of this update, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
It is highly recommended to print out these instructions as a reference during the installation process.

Download and Installation Instructions

Download the UPDATE_MDSB2001U.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the UPDATE_MDSB2001U.EXE file to begin the installation.
Follow the on-screen prompts carefully.
When the update is finished, a "Maintenance Complete" message will appear.
At the "InstallShield Wizard has finished performing maintenance operations on MD Simple Burner." message, click Finish.
NOTE: If prompted, click Yes to restart the computer.

Installation Confirmation (Optional)

To confirm that the update installed successfully, please follow these steps.

Start the MD Simple Burner program.
At the top-right corner of the "MD Simple Burner" window, click "CONFIG."
At the "Settings" window, click the Version tab.
Check along the top and if it states "MD Simple Burner Version 2.0.01.13180," then the update is complete. However, if it does not list 2.0.01.13180 as the version number, then please download and install this update again.
Click OK to close the "Settings" window.
