    Unless stated otherwise, the file listed below must be installed BEFORE the Hotkey Utilities (Windows 7 64bit) in order for it to work properly. If more than one Required file is listed, install them in the order presented on this page.

    It is recommended to install this update if you have installed the Hotkey Utilities update before May 17th 2013.

    Before You Start

    Important Notes

    • IMPORTANT: Before installing the Hotkey Utilities, please note the following:
      1. It is recommended that the System Settings Program Update (EP0000600768.exe), be installed if you have installed the Hotkey Utilities update before May 17th 2013. A link to the Settings Program Update is available in the You May Need This section.
      2. If you have performed a clean install of the Windows® 7 operating system (i.e., installed from a commercial, off-the-shelf, version rather than using the Recovery Wizard or Recovery Media Kit), please ensure that all original device drivers from the Sony® support site have been installed on the computer.
      3. If you have performed a clean install of the Windows 7 operating system, install the Sony Shared Library. A link to the Sony Shared Library is available in the You May Need This section above.
      4. During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
      5. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
      6. It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000551532.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000551532.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. If the "Select Language" screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click "OK".
    6. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
    7. At the "Hotkey Utilities Ver. 1.0" screen, click "Next".
    8. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.

    9. Note: A restart is required during installation.The installation automatically continues after the computer restarts, please follow the on-screen instructions.

    10. At the "This system must be restarted to complete the installation" screen, click "OK" to restart the computer.
    11. If the "Select Language" screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click "OK".
    12. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
    13. At the "Hotkey Utilities Ver. 1.0" screen, click "Next".
    14. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
    15. At the "Finish" screen, click "Finish".
    16. At the "This system must be restarted to complete the installation" screen, click "OK" to restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the Hotkey Utilities is complete.
