    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the SOAOTH-00280297-1082.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAOTH-00280297-1082.EXE file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. If the "Select Language" screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click "OK".
    6. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
    7. At the "Sony Reader Application Update Ver. 2.0.00.07121 " screen, click "Next".
    8. At the "Software License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
    9. At the "Select Region" screen, select your region then click "Next".
    10. If the "Select Language" screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click "OK".
    11. At the "Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for Reader for PC" screen, click "Next".
    12. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the End User License Agreement. Select "I accept the terms in the license agreement", then click "Next".
    13. At the "Destination Folder" screen, click "Next".
    14. At the "Ready to Install the Program" screen, click "Next".
    15. At the "InstallShield Wizard Completed" screen, click "Finish"

    The installation of the Sony Reader Application Update is complete.
