    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000600612.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000600612.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Continue".
    5. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
    6. At the "MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ242 Firmware Update Ver. 1.41" screen, click "Next".
    7. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
    8. At the "Finished" screen click "Finish".

    9. NOTE:A shut down is required to complete the firmware update. Please shut down your computer after the firmware update is complete. After the computer shuts down, wait 60 seconds then restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ242 Firmware Update is complete.

    NOTE: Please verify the version installed is 1.41. If for any reason it is not Version 1.41, please run this update again then shut down the computer. Wait 60 seconds then restart the computer.

    How to verify the version installed using Windows® 7

    1. At the Windows 7 desktop, click "Start", "All Programs", "System Tools".
    2. Select "System Information", and double-click "Components" then click "CD ROM".
    3. At "PNP Device ID" version 1.41 is shown.

    How to verify the version installed using Windows 8

    1. Search for "Performance Information and Tools".
    2. Select "Settings" then click "Performance Information and Tools" to the left on your screen".
    3. Click "Advanced Tools", then click "View advanced system details in System Information".
    4. Double click "Components" then click "CD-ROM".
    5. At "PNP Device ID" version 1.41 is shown.
