    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000600796.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000600796.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. At the "Select Country" screen, select the country for this installation, and then click "Next".
    6. At the "VAIO Escalation Page Copy Tool Updater Ver. 3.9.58.06060" screen, click "Next".
    7. At the "License Agreement" dialog, read the agreement, then, if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue with the installation.
    8. At the "Update completed successfully" screen, click "OK".
    9. At the "Finished" screen, click "Finish".
    10. After the installation is complete, restart the computer

    The installation of the VAIO Escalation Page Copy Tool Updater is complete.

    To check that the installation is successful, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Registry Editor. Click "Search", click "Apps", then type "Regedit".
    2. Click "Regedit", then click "Yes" on the User Account Control screen.
    3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Sony Corporation\VAIO Escalation Page Copy Tool\version.
    4. The version shown is 2.0.0.201303140.
