    This driver also resolves the yellow exclamation point error Device Manager Exclamation Point Error that may appear in Device Manager next to "Unknown Device" which indicates that a driver is not installed for that device.

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000552043.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000552043.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. If the "Select Language" screen appears, select the language you wish to use, and then click "OK".
    6. At the "Select Country / Region" screen, select the country or region for this installation, and then click "Next".
    7. At the "Intel Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) Driver Ver. 1.0.0.1013" screen, click "Next".
    8. Read the License Agreement and if you agree, click "I Agree" to continue the installation.
    9. At the "Finish" screen, click "Finish".
    10. At the "This system must be restarted to complete the installation" screen, click "OK" to restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the Intel Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) Driver is complete.
