    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000600978.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000600978.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
    6. At the "Welcome to the Setup program" read the important note, then click "Next".
    7. Read the Intel License Agreement, and if you agree, click "Yes".
    8. At the "Setup Progress" screen, click "Next" to continue.
    9. At the "Setup is Complete" screen, leaved the default checked box for "Yes, I want to restart this computer now", then click "Finish" to restart the compupter.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the Intel Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) Driver Update is complete.
