    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000601094.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000601094.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
    5. At the "Welcome to the Intel® Serial IO" screen, read and follow the on-screen instructions, then click "Next".
    6. At the "License Agreement" screen, read the Intel® Serial IO License Agreement, and if you agree, select "I accept the terms of the License Agreement", then click "Next".
    7. At the "Readme File Information" screen, read the Intel Serial IO Readme File Information, then click "Next".
    8. At the "Intel Serial IO Confirmation" screen, click "Next".
    9. At the "Intel Serial IO Completion " screen, select "Yes, I want to restart this computer now", then click "Finish". The computer will restart.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the Intel Serial IO GPIO Host Controller Update is complete.
