Benefits and improvements
This utility installs an updated version of the Xperia Link™ software and resolves the following issues:
- The XPERIA Link application fails to connect the Sony® XPERIA smart phone to a VAIO® computer.
- The Xperia Link application cannot automatically establish tethering after the computer returns from shut down and adds the QR (Quick Response) code function.
- The Xperia Link application fails to connect the Sony® Xperia smart phone to a VAIO® computer when the wireless network name SSID (Service Set Identifier) contains non-ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange) characters.
- The Xperia Link application fails to connect the Sony® Xperia smart phone to a VAIO® computer with Android version 4.4 or higher.

Before You Start
Important Notes
- This update is not applicable for Fresh Start models, Microsoft Signature models and 64 GB SVF11N1xx models.
- For CTO/BTO models, this driver utility is only applicable when configured with the Bluetooth® and wireless LAN option.
- During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
- To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
- It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.
Download & Install
Download and Installation Instructions
- Download the SOAOTH-P0322647-1180.EXE file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
- Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the SOAOTH-P0322647-1180.EXE file to begin the installation.
- At the "User Account Control" screen, click "Yes".
- At the "Xperia Link - Maintenance Complete" screen, click "Finish".
- Restart the computer.
After the computer restarts, the installation of the Xperia Link Software is complete.
Update Verification (optional)
Please follow the steps below to verify that the software was successfully updated
- On the taskbar double-click the "File Explorer" folder.
- Double-click the "Local Disk (C:)" drive.
- Double-click the "Program Files (x86)" folder.
- Double-click the "Sony" folder.
- Double click the "Xperia Link" folder.
- Double click the "Version" file.
- Version 1.3.3.11280 is displayed.
