    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000601195.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000601195.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the User Account Control screen, click Yes.
    5. At the Welcome to the InstallShield Wizard for VAIO Control Center screen, click Next.
    6. At the InstallShield Wizard Complete screen, keep the default checked box for Yes, I want to restart my computer now, then click Finish to restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the VAIO Control Center Update is complete.

    Update Verification (optional)

    Please follow the steps below to verify that the software was successfully updated:

    1. Browse to C:ProgramFiles\Sony\VAIO Control Center.
    2. Or browse to C:ProgramFiles (x86)\Sony\VAIO Control Center.
    3. Double-click the version.txt file.
    4. Version 6.0.23.07090, 6.1.16.07090 or 6.2.16.07210 is displayed.
