    Before You Start


    Important Notes

    • During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.
    • To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    • It is highly recommended that you print out these instructions for use as a reference during the installation process.

    Download and Installation Instructions

    1. To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs. The Taskbar should be clear of applications before proceeding.
    2. Download the EP0000601198.exe file to a temporary or download directory (please note this directory for reference).
    3. Go to the directory where the file was downloaded and double-click the EP0000601198.exe file to begin the installation.
    4. At the User Account Control screen, click Yes.
    5. At the Maintenance Complete screen, click Finish.
    6. Restart the computer.

    After the computer restarts, the installation of the Active Clip software update is complete.

    Please follow the steps below to verify that the installation was successful

    1. Open the C:\Program Files(x86)\Sony\Active Clip file location.
    2. Double-click the Version.txt file.
    3. Verify that the file version is 1.3.0.08180.
