The LED flashes, sound skips, or noise occurs

If the LED flashes, the sound skips, or noise occurs the main unit and the subwoofer are not linked. Follow the instructions below:

1. If possible, move the subwoofer closer to the main unit of the home theater where it will not be directly blocked by any furniture, walls, or metal barrier.

2. If the wireless access point (wireless router) can be switch between the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, change the frequency to avoid interference from other wireless devices:

   • For the HT-ST9, HT-ST5, HT-NT3, HT-RT5, HT-ST5000, and HT-MT500: Switch the wireless router to the 2.4 GHz band.

   • For the HT-CT780, HT-CT380, HT-NT5, HT-CT790, HT-CT390, HT-CT800, HT-MT300, HT-CT290, and HT-G700: Switch the wireless router to the 5 GHz band.
