The screen brightness suddenly changes. (OLED TV)
The screen suddenly gets brighter or darker.

If the TV screen brightness suddenly changes, check the following:
- Is the Light sensor set to On?
If it is, the brightness of the TV screen changes to match the ambient lighting. If you wish to turn this feature off, follow these steps:
- On the supplied remote, press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- This step will depend on your TV menu options:
- Select Display & Sound → Picture → Light sensor
- or select Display → Picture → Light sensor
Note: The Light Sensor is located in the center of the bottom part of the screen.
- Change the channel or source to check if the brightness returns to normal.
If an image is displayed on the screen that may cause image retention to occur easily, the screen brightness gradually reduces in order to protect the TV from image retention. The brightness returns to normal if you change the screen or perform another action that eliminates the risks of image retention.
- This function activates frequently because the HOME screen and the apps top screen contain bright still images.
- If the brightness change is inconvenient, lower the Peak Luminance setting to reduce the brightness change.
- Press the HOME button.
- Select
Settings.
- Select Display & Sound → Picture → Advanced settings → Brightness → Peak Luminance → Medium or Low.
Note: If Advanced settings is not shown, select Brightness → Peak Luminance, then set to Medium or Low.
- Select Display → Picture → Advanced settings → Brightness → Peak Luminance → Medium or Low.
